Biography

B. 1965; master’s degree at the University of Warsaw in 1988, Ph.D. in 2000, habilitation in 2012; since 1992 assistant, and since 2000 assistant professor at the Institute of History of the University of Warsaw. In the years 2002-2005 Assistant Director for Student Affairs at the Institute. From 2005 to 2019 a member of the Didactic Committee of the IH Scientific Council. In 2013-2020 deputy chairman of the Scientific Council of IH. In 2020, chairman of the Didactic Council of the courses “History” and “History and Culture of the Jews”, currently a member of this council.
Research interests: history of Poland in the years 1795-1831.
