Biography

B. 1978, studies at the Historical Institute of UW and Friedrich-Meinecke-Institut at Freie Universität Berlin, Institute of Philosophy of UW; 2002 MA at IHUW; 2002-2007 PhD studies at IH UW and at Graduiertenkolleg 619 “Kontaktzone Mare Balticum” at Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Universität Greifswald; PhD IHUW in 2007; habilitation in 2019.
Since 2008 – employed at IHUW; 2011 – post-doc in Excellezcluster “Normative Orders” (under Prof. Luise Schorn-Schütte; J.W. Goethe University Frankfurt/M.); 2012/2013 and 2017/2018 – guest professorship at Johann Gutenberg University Mainz.

Interests: reformation, history of Christianity in modernity; political theories of the modern era.
