Biography
1996 – Master of Arts in history (Historical Institute of the University of Warsaw); 2006 – Doctor of Humanities (Historical Faculty of the University of Warsaw)
Research interests: history of the Zaporizhian Cossacks in 16th-17th centuries, history of the Cossack Hetmanate (1648-1709), including political, military and social history, history of Ukraine in 16th-17th centuries, modern military history (with particular emphasis on Old Polish art of warfare, Cossack military history and history of wars in 17th century), history of Polish-Moscow and Cossack-Moscow relations in 17th century.
