Ph.D. Habil. Tadeusz Paweł Rutkowski
He was born in 1965. In 1992 he graduated from the Historical Institute of the University of Warsaw. In 1998, at the Faculty of History of the University of Warsaw, he defended his doctoral dissertation entitled “Stanisław Kot (1885 – 1975). Political biography”, published in 2000. In 2009 he habilitated on the basis of the work “Historical Sciences in Poland 1944 – 1970. Political and organizational issues”. (Warsaw 2007). Since 1998 he has been employed as an assistant professor at the Historical Institute / Department of History, University of Warsaw. Specialises in the political history of Poland and Eastern Europe in the 20th century, science policy and history of historiography.
