Biography
Master’s degree at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the Military University of Technology (2007). Doctorate (2014) at the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography of the Warsaw University of Technology. In 2010–2014, he was an assistant at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the Military University of Technology, 2014-2021, and adjunct there. Currently an assistant professor in the “NAWA – Gościnna Profesura” program at the Faculty of History of the University of Warsaw. Scholarship holder: Transformation.doc (Wageningen, the Netherlands), PROM – International scholarship exchange of doctoral students and academic staff (Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies, Regensburg, Germany). Research interests: cartography, geographic information systems, old maps and the way they are made available by digital libraries and spatial and temporal visualizations.
