Biography
I am a Roman archaeologist whose research focuses on many aspects of the ancient world, including Roman architecture and the building industry, late-antique urbanism, and recycling practices. I have published widely on these topics in numerous volumes and journals, including the Papers of the British School, Memoirs of the American Academy, Marmora, and Ædificare. Revue internationale d’histoire de la construction. I have been involved in fieldwork projects in Türkiye, Jordan, Italy, and the UK.
