B. March 5, 1964; master’s degree in history from the University of Warsaw in 1988, completed journalism studies at the University of Warsaw in 1990, Ph.D. in 1999, habilitation in 2012. Employed at the Historical Institute of the University of Warsaw since 1990 as an assistant; before that (1988-1990) worked at the Institute as a volunteer assistant, assistant professor since 1999. 1995-1996 scientific secretary of the Institute, since October 1, 1999 deputy manager of the Educational Television, Channel 1 of the Polish public television TVP S.A, from 1 May 2005 to 30 June 2009 in the Documentary Forms Editorial Office of TVP 1, from 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2012 in the Documentary Forms Department of TVP Film Agency
