M.A. Paulina Wacławik

Biography

project under the direction of Ph.D. Francis Harvey with funding from the NAWA Chair programme.
Master’s degree at the Faculty of Neophilology, UW (2017), Master’s degree at the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography, PW (2012).
In her forthcoming dissertation, she combines these two disciplines: geography and linguistics by researching English language textbooks.
From 2020 to 2022, she is an intern in the NCN grant “Aquaculture Vistas…” (2019/35/D/HS2/02840)
From 2020, researcher in the TE-Con3 project (Erasmus+).
Research interests: issues at the interface of language and culture: cultural transfer, translation of scientific geography texts and the use of GIS tools in linguistics; culture in teaching, and mapping literature (deep mapping).
