The results of voting in the election of the candidate
for the dean of the Faculty of History of the University of Warsaw
for the term of office 2024-2028
1 The indicative ballot in the election for the candidate for Dean of the Faculty of History for the term 2024 – 2028, dated 22.04.2024, is valid.
2. 70 faculty electors participated in the ballot.
3 A total of 22 nominations were submitted in the indicative ballot, of which 3 received the required minimum i.e. “at least 10% of the total votes” (i.e. at least 7 votes). These are, in order of the number of votes obtained:
- Professor Łukasz Niesiołowski-Spanò – 58 votes
- Professor Jolanta Choińska-Mika – 8 votes
- Professor Michał Leśniewski – 7 votes
4. All the above-mentioned candidates, having declared their consent to stand as candidates (no later than 30 April 2024 by 3 p.m.), proceed to the second round of elections – the final vote, electing the dean.

By 6 May 2024 at the latest, the Faculty Election Committee will publish an announcement of the final election, including the nominations included. The final vote to select the Dean of the UW History Faculty will take place on 13 May 2024.
