Field Trip to the National Museum

On Friday, December 13th, a field trip took place at the National Museum in Warsaw as part of the elective course “Ancient Wine Adventure – History and Archaeology of Vine and Wine” led by Dr. Paulina Komar, for students of the History of Ancient Mediterranean Civilizations program.

We visited the Gallery of Ancient Art and the Faras Gallery in search of artifacts related to ancient wine production and explored the role of this beverage in various cultures of the Mediterranean basin.

Such excursions are not only a great opportunity to expand our knowledge but also to build bonds with other students and share a passion for history. Discovering the past together helps us better understand our culture and creates unforgettable memories.
