International Workshop

On 14 January, we cordially invite you to a major international scholarly event devoted to new research on Historia by Sextus Aurelius Victor. The international workshop entitled
“Exit Kaisergeschichte, intrat historia Sexti Aurelii Victoris? Rethinking modern models of the Late Antique Latin historiography”
will take place in the Column Hall of the Faculty of History, University of Warsaw.

The workshop will focus on Late Antique Latin historiography and contemporary approaches to its interpretation. It will bring together scholars working in the fields of Ancient History and Late Antiquity, providing a forum for international academic exchange and discussion.
