In accordance with the decision of Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, Rector of UW, 8 May is a Day of Mourning, with no teaching or work at the University of Warsaw.
Classes at the Facultyt of History will not be held. The building will be closed.
The University community is shocked by the brutal murder that occurred on the UW Main Campus. Let the Day of Mourning be a time to reflect on emerging acts of violence and aggression in academic spaces.
