We are pleased to announce the opening of a scholarship competition for students enrolled in the “History of the Ancient Mediterranean Civilizations” programme for the 2025/2026 academic year.   • Rector’s Scholarship Update – Student Welfare and Support Office

Student Welfare and Support Office of the University of Warsaw informs that the processing of Rector’s Scholarship applications is now in its final stage. Due to recent nationwide regulatory changes affecting scholarship funding, decisions will be issued later than originally planned.   • Registration Dates for Courses and Examinations in the Summer Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year

Please find below the key registration dates for courses and language examinations in the summer semester 2025/2026 academic year:

Polish Language Courses (Polish as a Foreign Language): registration begins on 6 December 2025, followed by additional rounds

Foreign Language Examinations: begins on 12 December 2025

General University Courses (Open Access): begins on 15 December 2025, followed by additional rounds

PE Courses: begins on 26 January 2026, followed by additional rounds

 

  • Interstudent 2025/2026 – Call for Applications

The Education Foundation Perspektywy is looking for motivated, curious, and ambitious international students who actively contribute to their academic communities at Polish universities. Each year, with the support of higher education institutions, the Foundation receives numerous outstanding nominations for the Interstudent title. In 2025, the competition will be held for the 16th time, and the gala will take place in Kraków, during the annual “Foreign Students in Poland” conference hosted by the Jagiellonian University.

  • New Erasmus+ Student Mobility Coordinator at the Faculty of History

We are pleased to announce that dr Jan Burek has been appointed as the new Erasmus+ Student Mobility Coordinator at the Faculty of History.

  • Support for Students on the Autism Spectrum

In the 2025/2026 academic year, the Faculty of History provides support through a dedicated tutor – Dawid Musialik. The tutor offers guidance on organizational and administrative matters, including course registration, USOS, ECTS, scholarships, student housing, and contacts for university support services. No formal diagnosis or registration is required.

Meetings can be scheduled in person (Wednesdays, 3:00-4:30 PM, room 205, 4th floor – by prior appointment) or online.
