Invitation to the 2024/2025 Academic Year Closing Ceremony
The Authorities of the Faculty of History at the University of Warsaw cordially invite all students completing their Bachelor’s or Master’s studies in the 2024/2025 academic year to the Academic Year Closing Ceremony, which will take place on 30 June 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Column Hall of the Faculty of History.
This special event will mark the symbolic culmination of your academic journey – a moment of reflection, emotion, and shared joy, when the Faculty of History community comes together to celebrate the closing of another chapter.
The programme will include, among others:
- Welcome address by the Dean of the Faculty of History
- Lecture delivered by Professor Piotr Majewski
- Presentation of congratulatory letters and graduation diplomas (for students who successfully defend their theses by 30 June)
- Performance by the Faculty of History Choir
- Group photo in academic gowns and caps at the University gate
- Refreshments
Important organisational information:
Students who complete their study requirements by 30 June will receive congratulatory letters during the ceremony (please note: these are not official graduation diplomas).
Students who successfully defend their theses by 30 June will receive their graduation diplomas from the Dean.
Students who do not complete their studies by the deadline are still warmly invited to participate in the ceremony.
