Histories of Violence in Central and Eastern Europe. A Comparative Perspective.

We invite you to attend the international conference “Histories of Violence in Central and Eastern Europe. A Comparative Perspective”,  which will take place on 15–17 September 2025 at the Faculty of History, University of Warsaw (Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28, Warsaw).

The event will feature presentations by scholars from Poland and abroad, addressing the topic of violence in Central and Eastern Europe from a comparative perspective. The working language of the conference is English.

We encourage everyone to join us for the lectures and take part in the discussions. The conference offers an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, present research findings, and build academic networks.
