Invitation to the Conference: “Histories of Violence in Central and Eastern Europe. A Comparative Perspective”

We cordially invite you to participate in the conference dedicated to the history of violence in Central and Eastern Europe, which will take place on September 15-17, 2025, at the Museum of Polish History in Warsaw.

🗓 Submission Deadline: March 30, 2025 🗓

The conference will cover various types of violence: physical, symbolic, psychological, and military, analyzed from the perspectives of social, legal, cultural, and military history. We encourage the submission of paper proposals that address bold theses and explore different research categories such as gender, class, race, and ethnicity.
