Results of the elections to the UW Electoral College and the WH Faculty Council

Information on the results of the election
to the University Electoral College
and to the Faculty Council of WH UW
for the term of office 2024 – 2028

1 The elections to the College of Electors of the University and to the Faculty Council WH UW on 31.01.2024 are valid.

2 The following persons were elected to the College of Electors of the University of Warsaw (in the order of the votes obtained):

curia of professors and university professors = 6 seats

1. Professor Jarosław Czubaty
2. Professor Piotr Maciej Majewski
3. Professor Łukasz Niesiołowski-Spanò
4. Professor Robert Wiśniewski
5. Professor Michał Filip Leśniewski
6. Professor Marek Węcowski

habilitation curia = 1 seat

1. Professor Maciej Mycielski

curia of other academic teachers = 2 seats

1. Ph.D. Jerzy Szafranowski
2. Ph.D. Katarzyna Wagner

curia of non-academic staff = 1 seat

1. Agata Ignatowicz-Bocian, M.A.

3. the following persons were elected to the Faculty Council of WH UW (in order of votes obtained):

curia of other academic staff = 10 seats

2. Ph.D. Piotr Kroll
3. Ph.D. Jerzy Szafranowski
4. Ph.D. Julia Doroszewska

curia of non-academic staff = 5 seats

3. elections to the Faculty Council of WH UW will continue in the near future in the form of supplementary votes on the candidates who did not obtain an absolute majority of votes.

4) After completion of point 3, by-elections to the Faculty Council WH UW will be held as soon as possible.

5. In view of the requirement to fill all seats, the JEC calls for the nomination of candidates and their further effective election by eligible voters so that we do not face permanent elections.
