AID INSTITUTIONS

Plenipotentiary for Equality
Monika Polit, Ph.D. has been appointed Plenipotentiary for Equality at the Faculty of History by the Dean of the Faculty.

The main tasks of the Plenipotentiary include acting as a consultation and contact ‘point’ for discrimination cases and responding to reported cases through counseling or, with the consent of the reporting person, referring the case to the Ombudsman, as well as providing students with the support system at the Faculty of History and information about equality courses and training. The Plenipotentiary can be contacted through the following address: m.polit2@uw.edu.pl

The Pink Box and diaper changing table
The Pink Box can be found on the 3rd floor in the restroom for people with disabilities. Sanitary products can also be found in every ladies’ room at the Faculty. They all contain free personal hygiene products (sanitary pads and tampons) that you can use in case of an emergency. A diaper changing table is located in the restroom on the ground floor (next to room B2).

Support for individuals on the Autism Spectrum
We provide a tutor who offers support for every individual on the Autism Spectrum studying at the Faculty of History. His support includes providing organizational and formal information (e.g. assistance with course registration, using the USOSweb platform, providing information and contacts to other places providing support within the University). Please remember that the tutor’s responsibilities do not include psychological support. Formal diagnosis or registration at the Office for Persons with Disabilities (BON) are not required to use the tutor’s assistance. It is possible to arrange an in-person appointment at the Faculty or an online meeting with the tutor. Please note that appointments are necessary in order to meet with the tutor at the Faculty.
