An eleven-person research team from three language zones, is preparing a scientific edition of the corpus of sources illustrating the legal status of Jews in the Polish lands under partitions and in the Second Polish Republic. The aim is to collect and critically develop a range of legislative documents and implementation examples. The material will be reduced to a common linguistic basis, provided with a critical, contextual scientific apparatus, and thanks to electronic editing and a system of indexes in printed publications, the effect of networking normative materials with selected examples of the implementation of regulations in the legal and social practice of the partitioning states and the Second Polish Republic will be achieved.
