Remarque Institute Visiting Fellowship

Thanks to the generous support of the Czernecki Educational Foundation, the Remarque Institute at New York University (NYU) is launching a visiting fellowship programme for researchers from the University of Warsaw working in the humanities and social sciences.

For the 2027/2028 academic year, applications are particularly welcome from researchers holding a PhD who have not yet obtained their habilitation degree.

The fellowship provides a four-month stay at the Remarque Institute and includes:

• USD 3,250 per month for each of the four months of the fellowship (USD 13,000 in total);
• Complimentary studio accommodation for the duration of the stay or, subject to accommodation availability, a housing allowance of USD 2,500.

Researchers from all University of Warsaw faculties representing the humanities and social sciences are eligible to apply.
