Master’s degree at the University of Warsaw 1997, Ph.D. there 2005.
Employed at the Historical Institute of the UW since 2005.
Currently:
Plenipotentiary of the Rector for Teacher Education
Member of Polish Accreditation Committee (Humanistic Team and Teacher Education Team)
Member of the Commission on the History of Women at the Committee on Historical Sciences, Polish Academy of Sciences
Head of the Social History Group at the History Department, University of Warsaw
Member of the Council of the Faculty of History, University of Warsaw
Coordinator of educational modules and doctoral studies in the Program of integrated actions for the development of the UW, financed by the ESF within PO WER.
Research interests:
Socio-cultural history of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, especially: the history of advertising, mass media and trade culture, the history of urbanization, and the history of women and gender.
