Biography

ORCID: 0009-0007-0007-8560

I was born in Warsaw in 1997. I completed my Bachelor’s degree studies carried out at the Faculty of History of the University of Warsaw in 2021 with a very good grade on the basis of the thesis “Żywot błogosławionego Maura” w świetle życia, działalności i poglądów Piotra Damianiego” written under the supervision of Professor Krzysztof Skwierczyński. During my undergraduate studies, I pursued a semester at Université Paul Valéry in Montpellier as part of the Erasmus+ programme. In 2023, I completed my Master’s degree with distinction; I wrote my thesis entitled ‘Comparison of the Lives of Odilon of Cluny by Jotsald of Saint-Claude and Peter Damiani’ under the supervision of Prof. Gregory Pac.

Since September 2022, I have been working as a fellow in the NCN OPUS project: “Bishop’s Trees. An environmental history of the Biala Forest” (No. 2021/43/B/HS3/02636), led by Dr Tomasz Związek.

Since November 2021, I have been serving as the editorial secretary of the Przegląd Historyczny.

My interests include monasticism and the Church in the Middle Ages, the cult of saints, memory studies and, more broadly, medieval culture in all its manifestations. I am also interested in palaeography.
