M.A. Grzegorz Garbuz
Biography
A graduate of BA studies at the Historical Institute of the University of Warsaw (2019) and MA studies at the Faculty of History of the University of Warsaw (2021). Bachelor’s degree (“Ideological foundations of the Kiev-Pechersk Monastery as the most important center of monastic life in Ruthenia in the pre-Mongol period”) and master’s thesis (“Law, tradition, jurisdiction – the Moravian metropolis in the context of the great ecclesiastical conflict of the second half of the 9th century”) defended under under the care of dr. hab. Marcin R. Pauk. Research interests: history of medieval and early modern Rus with particular emphasis on the history of the Church, religious change in Central and Eastern Europe, Slavic-speaking Christianity.
