Biography
Studied at the Historical Institute of the University of Warsaw. In 1990-1993 history teacher at XXIII High School in Warsaw. Employed at the Historical Institute of the University of Warsaw since 1993. Received her Ph.D. in 1999 and habilitation in 2010. Visiting professor: Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and Graduate School of Letters, University of Kyoto – 2012, Институт истории, гуманитарного и социального образования Новосибирский государственный педагогический университет – 2015, Львівський національний університет імені Івана Франка, Iсторичний факультет – 2015. Member of the historical team in the EU Framework Program IV Project: “Piloting of new matriculation exams” – 2014-2017.
Research interests: history of Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian historical thought of the 18th-20th centuries; history of science; history of Polish historical education of the 19th-20th centuries, contemporary didactics of history.
