Biography
B. 1931; studied at the University of Pisa and at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa 1953, Ph.D. and Habilitation at the University of Warsaw 1966 and 1979, titular Professorship 1994. Lecturer in Italian in Paris 1956-1960, employed at the Historical Institute of the University of Warsaw successively as Assistant (1962), Senior Assistant, Assistant Professor, Lecturer, Associate Professor since 1991, Full Professor since 1999.
