Biogram
Ur. 1966; magisterium w IH UW 1989, tu również: doktorat (1996) i habilitacja (2010).
Zatrudniony w Instytucie Historycznym UW od 1989 na stanowisku asystenta stażysty, od 1990 – asystenta, od 1997 – adiunkta. Sekretarz IH ds. ogólnych (2001-2002).
Od 2019 r. kierownik Zakładu Historii Średniowiecznej.
Jest członkiem Stałego Komitetu Mediewistów Polskich.
